The $3,700 pilgrimage package cost includes the $1,165 cost for flying round trip from Los Angeles International Airport, connecting through San Francisco International Airport to Tel Aviv. From Los Angeles, that’s an incredible price.
But if you’re originating from a city east of Los Angeles, you probably can get a better rate booking a different flight entirely. An April 5, 2017 quick check on kayak.com showed these round trip costs to Tel Aviv for travel on October 8 & 20 on major airlines:
|Chicago (ORD)||$ 607|
|Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW)||949|
|Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP)||1,050|
|New Orleans (MSY)||1,053|
|New York (JFK)||1,166|
|Richmond, Virginia (RIC)||1,321|
(Note: These rates do not necessarily reflect favorable travel times, so get a real quote on a real itinerary before making alternate travel plans.)
So if you’re joining the pilgrimage but not flying out of LAX, we’ll issue you a $1,165 credit on the cost of your pilgrimage that you can apply toward a much more favorable travel plan. You can make the arrangements yourself, or our travel agent can assist you: Call Pinnacle Travel Services LLC at (888) 896-3636 or send email to email@example.com at any time, and they will be happy to assist you. Identify yourself as part of the Hope Lutheran / St. Margaret’s Holy Land Pilgrimage, Oct. 8-19, 2017.
IMPORTANT: If you make alternate travel arrangements, you must let us know so we don’t purchase a group ticket for you originating in Los Angeles. Also, we’ll need to discuss options for ground transportation and possible additional nights in Jerusalem.
